Leaderboard

How the Leaderboard ranks traders, the time filters, the Top 100 badge and the clan leaderboard.

Written by Klutch

fomo tracks every trader's realized and unrealized PnL. The leaderboard shows the top traders for each time window, not a curated list of influencers or known names. Anyone on fomo can make it on real trading performance. Unknown names have the opportunity to become known.

Your own rank and PnL are displayed at the top of the screen so you always know where you rank. You can filter by 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or all time. Rankings update in real time as positions move.

The leaderboard is the fourth tab in the bottom navigation bar and opens on Traders. To see only the people you follow, open the filters and switch on Following. If you see Following and Leaderboard tabs at the top instead, update the app.

On the mobile app the Leaderboard has three tabs: Traders, Positions and Clans. On the web app the Leaderboard page has Traders and Positions. The Positions tab ranks individual closed trades rather than traders, and is explained in https://help.fomo.family/en/articles/17983941-the-positions-leaderboard.

The leaderboard is a discovery tool for finding new traders. If you see a trader performing well, tap their profile to see their positions, thesis posts, and trading history. If you like what you see, follow them to add their activity to your feed and notifications.

The Top 100 badge

Accounts ranked 1 to 100 on the all time leaderboard carry a Top 100 badge. Ranks 1 to 3 get a gold, silver or bronze badge with their rank.

The badge follows your current all time rank and nothing else: drop below 100 and it goes away, climb back in and it returns. A change can take a few minutes to show. Tap the badge on a profile to see the rank, PnL and holdings behind it.

The clan leaderboard

The Clans view lists the top 50 clans for 24 hours, 7 days and 30 days, and the top 25 for all time. A clan ranked below that is not in the list, but its own page still shows its rank, and your own clan card shows yours. Clans are explained in https://help.fomo.family/en/articles/17831973-clans.
