Every token on fomo has a status that tells you how much it has been reviewed. Understanding these labels helps you make more informed decisions before trading.
Conduct thorough research before trading any token, including verifying contract addresses, checking for renounced ownership, and ensuring liquidity is locked.
Verified tokens have been reviewed by the fomo team. You will see a blue checkmark next to the token's name. Verified status means the token has passed a review process. It does not guarantee the token's price performance or eliminate all risk, but it is an indicator that the token has been vetted at the moment of verification.
Unverified tokens have not been reviewed by the fomo team. When you open an unverified token's page, the app shows a popup: "This token has not been verified by the fomo team. Please be cautious and do your own research." Every token that has recently graduated from the bonding curve starts as unverified.
Warning labels appear on tokens that show signs of being risky or potentially fraudulent. These can indicate a range of issues, from the token's contract blocking sells to liquidity pools being illiquid to the developer removing liquidity. If you see a warning label on a token, do not interact with it further until you have reviewed why this token has been labeled with a warning.
Labels are how fomo informs users about the tokens specific characteristics and how deeply we've reviewed them. Always do your own research before buying any token.
