Token verification is a review process for tokens that trade on fomo. Verified tokens may show a checkmark in the app.
A verified token has been reviewed by the fomo team. Verification does not mean the token is risk free, and it does not guarantee price performance, liquidity, or future availability.
Requirements for a verification review
To be eligible for verification review, a token needs to meet all four requirements:
Daily trading volume of at least 1,000,000 dollars
Market cap of at least 5,000,000 dollars
Unique metadata, meaning the symbol and name do not duplicate another project already verified on fomo
At least 1,000 unique holders
If your token meets all four requirements, submit it here: https://fomo.family/verify-token
If your token does not meet the requirements yet, you can resubmit once those thresholds are met.
Team tags
A team tag is different from verification. It marks a fomo account as a token's team account.
To request one, fill out the form at https://fomo.family/team-tag-form with your team and token details, and it goes straight to review. Support does not issue team tags.
The form asks the team to move 0.5 percent of the token's supply or 50,000 dollars worth, whichever is lower, into its fomo account, and the tag is not approved until that supply is visible there.
Once a team tag is on, the team account's own holding of that token shows a zero value on its own profile. That's expected, and the tokens are untouched in the wallet.
The Claim your team tag row in the token page's Holders view can still show to an account that already has the tag: it appears whenever no team holdings are listed, and a position that only arrived by transfer is listed only while the token has enough liquidity.
It doesn't mean the tag was removed, and there's no need to fill out the form again.
