A thesis is your written take on a token. It is a way to share why you bought something, what you see in it, or any relevant information you want other traders to know.
Your position is automatically attached to your thesis so readers can see you are putting your money where your mouth is.
To post a thesis, open the page of a token you hold and tap Add thesis on your position. The confirmation that pops up after a trade also has an Add thesis button for a few seconds. On the web app, use the thesis card on the token page. You have 3,000 characters to make your case.
Where your thesis appears
Your thesis appears in three places: your profile, the token's feed tab, and the global social feed. Other traders can see your thesis alongside your position details, including the token, its current value, and your PnL.
On the web app, a thesis card also shows an eye icon with how many times the thesis has been viewed. The mobile app does not show that count yet.
You can post an updated thesis any time while your trade is open, and for up to 3 hours after you close the position, from the closed position's details.
Your full thesis history stays visible on the token's page with the newest at the top, so if your view on a token changes you can post an updated take.
Traders following you will see the newest version.
A token page's holders list shows roughly the top 100 holders with their theses. A thesis on a smaller position does not appear in that list, but it stays posted and keeps showing in the feed.
If your thesis is not showing in a feed
On a token's feed, other traders see your thesis when the position behind it clears their minimum position size filter. That filter sits around 1,000 USDC by default, and even at its lowest setting the feed shows theses on positions of roughly 10 USDC and up.
If your thesis is on a position above that size and it is still not showing, contact support with the token name and roughly when you posted it so a person on the team can check your account.
Posting the same thesis over and over within a few hours can also keep it out of feeds through automated moderation. Nothing is wrong with your account when that happens.
Automated moderation also refuses sexual content and hate speech aimed at a nationality or other group of people, including as a joke or an insult. It also refuses a link that invites readers into an outside Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp or Signal group or chat; a link to fomo's own Discord is fine.
When a post is refused, the text is what was declined, not your account.
