Can I withdraw to PayPal, Venmo, Robinhood or Wealthsimple

Why a fomo withdrawal cannot go to a finance app address, what happens to funds sent there, and how to get money into those apps instead.

No. fomo cannot withdraw to finance apps like PayPal, Venmo, Robinhood or Wealthsimple, and funds sent to one of their addresses are permanently lost. The app warns you about this in the withdrawal flow, and the warning is there for a reason.

On the mobile app the Finance apps option only shows that warning. On the web app you confirm it before Review.

Why it does not work

A fomo Crypto withdrawal sends USDC on the network you select, or USDG on Robinhood Chain, and the app tells you which one you are sending. Most finance apps do not accept either.

PayPal, for example, accepts Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin and PayPal USD, so USDC sent to a PayPal address arrives as an asset it does not support and never shows in your balance.

A blockchain transfer has no reversal. Once it confirms, fomo cannot recall it, and only the company that received it can decide whether to return anything. If you have already sent funds to one of these apps, contact that app's support with the transaction hash.

How to get money into one of these apps

Withdraw to your bank account first (US bank accounts only, on the mobile app), then fund the app from your bank. The steps are in https://help.fomo.family/en/articles/14434429-withdrawing-to-your-bank-account.

You can also withdraw USDC to an exchange that accepts USDC on the network you select, and move it on from there. See https://help.fomo.family/en/articles/14434442-withdrawing-to-a-centralized-exchange.

Finding the transaction hash for any withdrawal is covered in https://help.fomo.family/en/articles/14468718-how-to-find-a-transaction-hash.
