To deposit with a debit card, tap Deposit on the home screen and select Debit Card. Enter the amount you want to deposit, then enter your card number, expiration date, CVV, and billing address on the payment screen.
fomo accepts bank-issued debit cards. The billing address, ZIP or postcode, and CVV you enter must match exactly what your bank has on file. A mismatch is one of the most common reasons a deposit is declined.
Some banks block crypto related purchases by default. If your card is declined and your details are correct, a quick call to your bank to authorize the purchase usually clears it.
If you see a pending charge on a deposit that did not go through, that is a temporary authorization hold, not a completed charge. Your bank releases it on its own, usually within 1 to 3 business days.
Debit card deposits land in your cash balance as USDC and are usually ready to trade within a few minutes.
If a debit card deposit will not go through, you can add funds another way. If you have a Coinbase account, use Pay with Coinbase from the Deposit screen under Exchanges and apps. If you already have USDC on another wallet or exchange, deposit it directly by going to Deposit, then Crypto, selecting the network your USDC is on, and sending only USDC on that same network.
