fomo charges a fee on each trade. The rate depends on which network the token is on.
On Base, BNB Chain, and Monad, the fee is 0.50% per trade.
On Ethereum, the fee is 0.50% per trade plus network fees.
On Solana, the fee is 0.50% per trade on orders of 200 USDC and above. Orders under 200 USDC have a minimum fee of 0.95 USDC.
Select major tokens have a lowered fee of 0.05% per trade. You will see this indicated on the token's page in the app.
Users who sign up with a referral code receive a 10% discount on trading fees, bringing the standard rate to 0.45%.
fomo covers all gas fees, priority fees, and token rent on Solana, Base, BNB Chain, and Monad so you never pay them separately. On Ethereum, network fees are passed through due to higher on-chain costs. Token rent is the one-time blockchain cost of opening a token account when you buy a token for the first time. On most platforms, these are charged on top of the trade. On fomo, they are included in the trading fee at no additional cost on supported covered networks.
Before confirming a trade, the app shows an estimated quote with the expected value of your trade based on current market liquidity. If the price impact is significant, the estimate will reflect that so you can decide before confirming.
Some tokens have fees built into their smart contracts that apply when the token is bought or sold. For example, tokens launched through certain launchpads may include a small contract-level fee. These are set by the token's creators, not by fomo, and are separate from fomo's trading fee.
