Every fomo user has a referral link. Open the Portfolio tab and tap Rewards at the top right; tapping your link opens the share sheet. On the web app, choose Rewards from the account menu. Your link is fomo.family/r/ followed by your username.

If you change your username, you keep every referral and what it has earned, but links and codes carrying the old name stop working. Share your new link, since a signup through the old one isn't credited to you.

When someone signs up using your referral link, you earn 25% of their trading fees on every trade they make, on Solana and on EVM networks (Base, BNB Chain, Monad, Ethereum, Robinhood Chain, Arc). The Rewards screen shows the rate you are earning. Earnings are deposited into your cash balance automatically.

When they arrive depends on the network. Solana earnings pay straight away, inside your referral's own trade, once your wallet has a USDC account. If the Rewards screen says Deposit USDC to begin earning fees, a USDC deposit sets that up; shares on trades before then aren't paid later.

EVM earnings build up first and are collected when you open fomo once they have added up to a small minimum, at most once every 12 hours, so the number can climb for a while before it reaches your balance.

Total earned on the Rewards screen is everything you have earned since you started, referral earnings and creator rewards together, not your current balance.

The person who signs up with your referral code receives a 10% discount on trading fees, bringing the standard rate from 0.50% down to 0.45% per trade. It applies automatically, to that percentage rate: the 0.05% rate on lowered-fee tokens and the fixed amounts on small Solana trades stay the same.

A referral code can be applied until your first trade. The mobile app asks for one when you log in, as long as no referrer is recorded and you haven't traded. On the web app, a code from a fomo.family/r/ link applies on its own after login. After your first trade there is no way to add one.

If you signed up through someone's link and no referrer was recorded on your account, contact us from inside the app: open the Portfolio tab, tap the gear icon, then Help and Support, and tap Contact support at the bottom, and ask to be attached to that code.

A referrer that is already recorded cannot be removed or changed to a different one. Their share comes out of the trading fee you already pay, so it doesn't add anything on top of your trades.

If you delete your fomo account, your referral code is deleted with it and the people you referred are no longer linked to you. A new account starts with a new code.
