Creator rewards

Who receives creator rewards, how they are paid, and where to see them.

Written by Klutch

Creator rewards are a share of fomo's trading fee, paid to a fomo user each time a token is traded through fomo. Despite the name, it isn't tied to who launched the token.

The share goes to the person whose activity led to the trade: someone trades after opening your post, your profile or your position, and the share is yours. Active perps traders on fomo can receive a share from other users' token trades as well. Your own trades never pay you one.

How the payment works

On Solana, your share is paid inside the other trader's own transaction, straight into your fomo cash balance. It arrives as many small credits rather than one transfer, and there is nothing to collect.

On EVM networks (Base, BNB Chain, Monad, Ethereum, Robinhood Chain, Arc), your app collects your shares when you open fomo, at most once every 12 hours, as one transfer covering many trades.

Where to see your rewards

The Rewards screen (Portfolio tab, Rewards at the top right; on the web app, Rewards in the account menu) shows Total earned at the top, which is your referral earnings and creator rewards together. The Creator rewards card below it shows the creator part.

Both figures are what you have earned, not a wallet balance. Total earned includes EVM shares your app hasn't collected yet, so it can run a little ahead of what has reached your cash balance.

History, further down the same screen, shows one Creator rewards line per day with that day's payments added together, and a separate Referrals line. Days with nothing earned don't appear. Because each Solana payment is small and arrives inside someone else's transaction, you won't find one transfer matching the total in your transaction history.

If you also referred the trader, the two shares are paid together and counted under Referrals.
