Tokenized stock tokens

Stock tokens on Robinhood Chain trade like any other token, but availability depends on where your connection is at the time.

Written by Klutch

Some tokens on fomo are tokenized stocks: tokens on Robinhood Chain that represent a stock. They trade like any other token on fomo, with one difference. They are not available in every location.

Where they are available

Availability is based on your connection's location at the time rather than where you live, so it can differ if you are traveling or using a VPN. Where they are not available, the token page shows "Not available in your region" and the token cannot be bought or sold.

This is a restriction on the token, not on your account. Everything else on fomo works as usual.

If your connection cannot be located

If your connection cannot be located, these tokens show as unavailable even in a place where they are offered. Turn off any VPN or proxy and try again on an ordinary connection.

If it still does not work on a plain connection, contact support from inside the app and we will look into it.

Warning labels on stock tokens

Tokenized stock tokens do not carry the "Potential scam" warning. If you see that warning on a stock token, close the token page and open it again. If it stays, contact support and we will check it.
