All wallet addresses live on the public blockchain ledger, which means anyone can send tokens to any address. This is not specific to fomo. These can sometimes be airdrop scam tokens, these are sent in bulk to thousands of wallets and often display a fake dollar value that cannot actually be sold.
If you see a token you do not recognize and you want it investigated, contact support with the token name.
