Buy with Apple Pay purchases on fomo go through Crossmint. When you tap Buy with Apple Pay, you are buying a specific token directly. This is different from depositing to your cash balance with a debit card.
The most common reason a purchase fails is the card linked to your Apple Pay. Only bank-issued debit or credit cards are accepted. Apple Cash, prepaid cards, and virtual cards are not supported.
Some banks block crypto related purchases by default. If your card is being declined and your details are correct, contact your bank to confirm they are not blocking the transaction.
The daily limit for direct token purchases through Apple Pay is 2,500 dollars, which resets at 12 AM EST. If you have reached it, wait until it resets.
If you have made too many attempts in a short period, wait at least one hour before trying again.
If the message mentions your country or region, Apple Pay purchases may not be available in your area. The alternative is to deposit USDC from a crypto exchange that operates in your country.
If you want to add funds to your cash balance instead of buying a specific token, go to the main Deposit screen and tap Debit Card. You can pay there with your debit card, or switch that screen to Apple Pay. Either way the funds land in your cash balance as USDC.
